Vanguard Class Submarines

HVAC

We have supplied the following equipment and services for Vanguard Class submarines.

  • Full control systems for the diesel power generators including integration with ships control system and safety interlocks​.
  • Local control panels for the HP air-compressors, sited in the main engine compartments​. Additional remote panels sited outside the engine room.​​
  • Remote access from the main ships control centre.​
  • Full on-board commissioning and testing including checking of ships wiring systems and calibration of temperature, pressure and speed sensors.​


Victoria Class Submarines

We have supplied the following equipment and services for Victoria Class submarines.

  • Full upgrade to the ships propulsion control system​.
  • Removal of old technology panels and replaced with units fit for servicing until 2042.​​
  • Includes integration with ships control system and safety interlocks.​
  • Capability to allow additional connectivity for remote displays.​
  • Scalable interface to integrate with other, previously isolated, systems.​
  • Remote access and control from the main ships control centre​.​
  • On-board self-test and diagnostics capability.​
  • Full on-board commissioning and testing including checking of ships wiring systems and calibration of temperature, pressure and speed sensors.​


Hunt Class Minesweepers

We have supplied the following equipment and services for Hunt Class minesweepers.

  • Salvage generator replacement project​. (Provides emergency power to vessel​​.)
  • Working with Caterpillar on the complete replacement system to the salvage generator system​​
  • Includes control panel for start-up, control and health monitoring.​
  • Integration into the ships MCAS system allowing full surveillance in the ships control centre.​
  • Full upgrade, set-up, calibration and commissioning.​

This project delivered a specialist system for ships with high levels of electro-magnetic sensitivity.



Type-23 Class Frigate

HVAC

We have supplied the following equipment and services for Type-23 Class Frigates.

  • Micro processor based control panel for the monitoring, surveillance and management of the high pressure air system​.
  • Controls and monitors all ships high-pressure air systems up to 280 Bar.
  • Manages compressor loading and condensation systems, especially during high duty cycle operations.​
  • Working with other suppliers for refitting of compressors.​
  • Full upgrade, set-up, calibration and commissioning.​


Invincible Class Aircraft Carriers

HVAC

We have supplied the following equipment and services for Invincible Class Aircraft Carriers.

  • Chilled Water Plant Control Panels​:
    To monitor 440V, 540kW compressor chilled water plant
  • High Pressure Air System​:
    Control panels for the surveillance system monitoring ships HP Air Compressors​. Local and Remote surveillance of essential temperatures and pressures.
  • Refrigeration Plant​:
    Management of the Lightfoot refrigeration system. Monitoring differential 4-20mA Pressure and Temperature transmitters.​
  • Full commissioning and ongoing preventative maintenance.​
